Memphis Gift Basket curates gift baskets built from locally owned Memphis businesses — BBQ, coffee, candy, art, and novelty 'guitar case' gifts. We set the maker up with an online storefront that sells its region-specific range to gift-givers and corporate buyers, with both same-day local delivery and nationwide shipping.
A signature local gift-basket maker needed an online store to sell region-specific, locally sourced products that aren't available anywhere else. The store had to support two very different fulfillment models — same-day in-town delivery and nationwide shipping — while also handling higher-value, relationship-driven sales like corporate gifting and real-estate and hotel welcome gifts that need a phone-assisted path alongside self-serve checkout.
We built the storefront on Shopify, giving the maker a hosted catalog, cart, and secure checkout without standing up custom infrastructure. The range is organized into shoppable, themed collections with standard merchandising and sorting; product pages carry image galleries, itemized contents, trust badges, and a per-product FAQ covering shipping, gift messaging, and bulk orders. Two fulfillment paths are wired in: self-serve checkout for nationwide shipping, and a call-to-arrange flow for same-day local delivery and for custom or promotional baskets. A news blog and a vendor-recruitment page round out the multi-vendor, locally sourced model.
